Learning the Books

I recently entered into a book photo challenge, but I wasn’t fully invested to participate for the entire month. I did want to at least try and participate most of the days. Everyday there is a different theme and one of the themes was contemporary classics. Admittedly, I had no idea what that was.

Of course, I checked google and found this amazing list- 100 Must Read Modern Classics. It’s probably not a good thing considering my addiction to collecting books. But, I’m sharing this here for two very good reasons:

  1. It’s the thing to do. Sharing is caring.
  2. I will have this here for future reference (filing my cart and adding to list of books to buy).

Don’t judge me! This is for my readers too.

Seriously, if you’re fairly new to the literary world, check this list out. There are so many important books on this list. I’m proud to say that I have a few of these in my library, but I haven’t read any (not proud).

This was also a learning experience for me; which I encourage. I’ve been reading pretty much all my life, but have never been knowledgeable about genres, literary accolades and other important structures of the reading world. It’s never too late to learn!

Leave any other suggestions in the comments. I’d love to chat about this!

Happy Reading
