New Year, New Month, New Me

ea9e2e4711bfc59a97f641633615337aTomorrow is my last day at my current job. I am very excited to be moving on for many reasons. I am currently working as a contract with a very good company. However, the position that I fill has no potential of permanent placement. Knowing this, after about 6 months working here I realized that I needed to pursue a permanent job. Luckily I was able to secure a great job with another great company.

Here I will have many opportunities to advance and relocate as well. They have locations worldwide which was a plus for me. It is in the insurance/claims industry, so I am sure job stability will not be an issue.

I will be taking a week off before starting my new job on March 13th. During this week I plan on starting on the house repairs for our new home. I will share more details about that soon!  I will also be hitting the gym. Which leads me to another reason why I am so excited about starting this new job. I have 4 weeks of training to complete with traditional hours, but after that I will be working more of a mid-day schedule. I will be able to get back into the gym on a regular basis. This is very important to me because although I could go anytime, I need to be able to go when it is convenient for me.

I also plan to do some vlogging during my week off so be sure to watch out for that. And if you havent’t subscribed to my channel, what are you waiting for?

About Luna Peace

I guess you may wonder what Luna Peace is and where this name comes from. It's actually pretty silly and kind of outside the box. Luna Peace is my husbands hippie name that a I plucked from a Facebook pictorial. I fell in love with it and have been using it ever since. I decided Luna Peace would be a great blog name because it describes me in many ways! Luna: (Goddess) the ancient Roman divine personification of the Moon Peace: occurs between heterogeneous social groups and is characterized by a lack of conflict and freedom from fear of violence. Commonly understood as the absence of hostility, peace often involves compromise, and therefore is initiated with thoughtful listening and communication to enhance and create mutual understanding. I see myself as a Goddess (as all woman should), and I definitely want peace. So let's get to it! This is my blog and I will use this platform to inform, encourage, and inspire you. Thank you for being here! ~Luna
