February Challenge- My Birth Month

Hey!

This is going to be an exciting challenge for many reasons. This month is my birth month and on February 13th I’ll be 38 years young. Yay! The challenge for this month is a healthy challenge and it’s simple; drink water daily. I am challenging myself to increase my water consumption, so I will be drinking half of my body weight in ounces daily. That is the recommended amount and I have been doing really bad keeping up with this. I used to do pretty well when I was working out consistently.  I would slack off on the weekends, but for the most part I did ok.

I will be using this water jug! 

Although this will be over half of my body weight I plan to drink 2 of these daily. I have this one at work and one at home just like it. I wrote the amount in ounces for future reference. I found this at $5 Below. 

I will also be using the Water Drink Reminder app. This will send me a notification every now and then to remind me to drink.

I am going to try to get my cousin to join me and I hope that others will join as well. Now February is a short month so the last day of the challenge will be March 2nd. This will cause me to overlap into the challenge for March, but that is fine. Ultimately I would like to keep this daily water drinking going anyway.

  1. Yay! I’m excited about doing this challenge. I have been slipping on my water drinking, but I’m ready to get back at it. Half my weight is like a gallon a day, so I’ll make sure to hit the mark everyday this month. Glad you’re doing this in the winter because that’s when I usually don’t feel the need to drink as much.
