Yoga (Namaste)

I found Wanderlust TV on Facebook. They are doing a 21 day challenge which started on the 9th, so it’s a little late to join. I still signed up and found that they have a few beginner yoga videos that you can watch for free. I figured I would start with that for now.

I found another online yoga option called Yoga Green Book. They give a free 30 day trial which I didn’t use at all. They are also very helpful and one of the instructors (Carla) even checked up on me from time to time. I also like the fact that they are all black yogis! This was exactly what I had been searching for.

I have been wanting to get into yoga for quite some time now. I started going at it a few months ago but unfortunately didn’t stick with it. My plan was to do yoga throughout the week and go to the gym on the weekends. That didn’t stick, but it is time to start again. Maybe I will add yoga into one of my commit 30 challenges.

I will take advantage of both of these yoga pages. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any black yogis on YouTube who have many practice videos. If you have any suggestions, please share. I would love to have a few options on the YT as well.

About Luna Peace

I guess you may wonder what Luna Peace is and where this name comes from. It's actually pretty silly and kind of outside the box. Luna Peace is my husbands hippie name that a I plucked from a Facebook pictorial. I fell in love with it and have been using it ever since. I decided Luna Peace would be a great blog name because it describes me in many ways! Luna: (Goddess) the ancient Roman divine personification of the Moon Peace: occurs between heterogeneous social groups and is characterized by a lack of conflict and freedom from fear of violence. Commonly understood as the absence of hostility, peace often involves compromise, and therefore is initiated with thoughtful listening and communication to enhance and create mutual understanding. I see myself as a Goddess (as all woman should), and I definitely want peace. So let's get to it! This is my blog and I will use this platform to inform, encourage, and inspire you. Thank you for being here! ~Luna
